Your emotions are your personal guidance system - they'll show you where you're out of alignment with your true self. If you're feeling dissatisfied, lethargic, overwhelmed or unhappy, you know you're not in alignment. Whatever you're feeling is a good sign of what you're attracting more of, so this is good information to have. It gives you somewhere to start.
So, if you don't want low energy, or more bills than money, or feeling disconnected with yourself or others, or struggle with something - what is it you'd really like?
Not having what you want gives you the opportunity to expand into a bigger life. It tells you where your focus has been and gives you the chance to gain clarity in order to attract something different.
Not having what you want is your point of power. That feeling of dissatisfaction is a gift. It's there to bring something into awareness. You then have the choice to realign with your true self by making your real desire conscious.
You can immediately shift your energy.
1. Using this worksheet, take a look at each of these areas in your life. What don't you want?
Career/Work - whether paid or not
Knowledge & Self Cultivation: inner peace, learning something new
Health & Family: your health, relationships with family members
Wealth & Prosperity: flow of money, reserves, growth of your business, gratitude, ease around money
Fame & Reputation: how visible you are in your business, how well known, what you're known for, how others see you.
Love & Relationships: your relationship, friendships
Children & Creativity: completing projects, communication, creativity
Helpful People & Travel: expansion in your business, travel, mentors, anyone who can help you
Although it's not a good idea to put too much focus on what you don't want - this exercise will be brief. Most people put a lot of focus on the things they do not want - and that's where it stops, so they get even more of it.
2. Beside each thing you do not want, write what is it you DO want. Turn it into the positive and write something specific. What I didn't want was to feel frustrated and have regrets about how I spent my time in NZ. Getting clear that what I really wanted was to leave NZ feeling I had made the most of this time shifted my focus and then it was easy to come up with something that would move me towards that: spending quality time with someone in my family each day.
If you're feeling lethargic, perhaps what you really want is to feel energized and inspired. Once you've got focused on that you can come up with some actions that will move you in this direction - perhaps drink a green smoothie each day! Perhaps declutter your closet.
Do this and you'll be amazed how fast your energy shifts.
3. Now what's one action you can take today? Clear that closet, ask a friend for support, find and sign up for the dance class you'd love to take?
Whenever you feel frustrated, dissatisfied or overwhelmed with something - that's your point of power. Something is out of alignment. If you find yourself thinking about what you don't want - debt, extra pounds, lack of purpose.... ask yourself what you do want.
When you do this you're using your personal guidance system - your emotions - to raise your energy and come into alignment with your true self - that magnificent, limitless, open to all possibilities, self.
And this is how the Law of Attraction works.
